The world's smallest talk
A collection of tools designed to illustrate some of the most extreme experiments in physics research today. The presentation is also extreme in its own way: each chapter fits… into a matchbox! A microscope is sometimes needed to observe the world’s smallest presentation.

The talk chooses from 8 boxes, each corresponding to an experience: from the smallest and most delicate to the most violent! Each conference features 4 boxes and can be repeated each time, proposing a new combination of chapters. The colourful backgrounds on which they are played also support the explanations, showing the scales of units corresponding to the records broken.

We have created a forest teaching for students. The goal is to offer them another relationship to environmental issues, more concrete and linked to their physics courses. In 2 days, they must imagine an experiment in the forest, carry it out, analyze it, then popularize it through a collective device (exhibition, website, insta account…).
Teaching explained in 3 minutes
This course was developed as a bachelor’s degree at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Paris-Saclay and at the Villebon-Georges Charpak Institute. It was imagined from an initial idea of the participants of the workshop “Reimagine Physics Teaching”, thank you all.
It benefited from the support of the Chair “Physics Reimagined” of the Paris-Saclay Foundation supported by the Air Liquide group and Crédit Agricole – CIB. It was produced in the premises and with the technical resources of the Center for Educational Experimentation of the Villebon – Georges Charpak Institute.
Thanks to Clara Vardon and Lou-Andreas Etienne for their help in creating the course, and to Adèle Nyitrai who designed the short film.

Cette exposition a été conçue de façon frugale, entièrement sur place et avec les moyens du bord : les mobiliers de l’Institut, le service impression de la fac, et en s’appuyant sur l’équipe des enseignant.e.s et des étudiant.e.s de l’Institut.
