Flush Physics

The crazy challenge of this project is to transform toilets into exhibition rooms to popularize science. Are you in a university, a high school, a museum? Do you have access to toilets? Print the posters, tape them up, and that’s it. You can be sure that visitors will be there, with the surprise effect guaranteed!

This project was imagined by the “Physics Reimagined” team, then thought out and implemented by Lou-Andreas Etienne, Anaïs Vergnolle and Julien Bobroff with the help of the COMPAS of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Paris-Saclay.

Video and poster: Lou-Andreas Etienne

It benefited from the support of the “La Physique Autrement” Chair of the Paris-Saclay University Foundation supported by the Air Liquide group and Crédit Agricole – CIB and Quantum Saclay. It was carried out in the premises and with the technical resources of the Center for Educational Experimentation of the Villebon – Georges Charpak Institute. Thanks to Frédéric, Camille and Alice who participated in the initial brainstorming during a memorable weekend in the countryside.
