1000 Push-ups for the Planet
You can’t understand a thing about your electricity bills ? You can’t tell if it’s the new washing-machine that’s using too much or the high-tech kettle you just bought ?
1000 Push-ups for the Planet is a very intuitive game that compares two types of energetic consumptions :
– the everyday ones (boiling water, scrolling on social media, being stuck in traffic…)
– the sports ones (a zumba class, a marathon, lenghts in a pool…)
With all the different game plays, not only you will gain a few energetic facts, but you will be asking for more !

1000 Push-ups for the Planet is a "Superphysics" project
After the Paris Olympics, the Physics Reimagined team decides to take part in the worldwide celebration of sport, by bringing in a touch of physics, of course !
Superphysics offers 3 never-seen-before exercices :
– the Approxi-meter : find out how your body can be used as a measuring tool 🤙🏻📐
– Publiball : discovering the world of scientific publication 🧑🏼🔬📄
– 1000 Push-ups for the Planet : become an expert of energy consumption 🏋🏽♀️🔋
This project was designed by Camille Debard and Lou-Andreas Etienne for the “Physics Reimagined” team (Université Paris-Saclay, CNRS).
